Assessment of Acoustic Liner Hole Clustering in a Normal-Incidence Impedance Tube

What is it about?

We show that adjusting the hole positions on an acoustic liner facesheet to be nonuniformly clustered can yield an improved lower-frequency absorption response. We also show that this effect can be modeled, at least in no flow applications.
