What is it about?
The performance of high-speed aircraft depends on the wing planform. In this study, the effect on the vortical flow field and the resulting forces and moments of different combinations of strakes and leading edge vortex controllers ahead of a delta wing are investigated in a wind tunnel study at subsonic, transonic and supersonic speeds.
