What is it about?
Unsteady flow phenomena are present in a wide range of problems and in diverse fields such as biological flight based on flapping wings, for example. Unsteady thin-airfoil theory is a low-order method for predicting unsteady flow past airfoils. This technical note provides an improvement to the typical algorithm used in implementing this theory, making it more accurate.
