What is it about?
This study developed efficient models for predicting aerodynamic forces and pressures on a fighter aircraft. The models were trained using data from two maneuvers, one at a constant Mach number and another with varying Mach. They accurately predicted forces, moments, and surface pressures for various flight conditions, including new maneuvers not used in training. This approach enables rapid estimation of complex aerodynamic behavior, which is crucial for aircraft design and analysis.
