What is it about?
The innovation of this article is that a novel piezoelectric stack periodic strut (PSPS) scheme based on the piezoelectric stack and rubber periodic arrangement is proposed to reduce gearbox noise in the helicopter cabin. This scheme has passive broadband and active harmonic control performance, which is suitable for suppressing harmonic noise from the gearbox. When analyzing the electromechanical coupling characteristics of the scheme, a full parameter model was introduced, including mechanical boundary conditions, electrical boundary conditions, material parameters, and geometric parameters. This model can not only analyze the electromechanical coupling dynamic characteristics of PSPS, but also can analyze the electromechanical dynamic characteristics of other vibration and noise control schemes using piezoelectric materials, which has universal application capabilities. Finally, the active and passive mixed noise control performance of the scheme was verified through helicopter model experiments.
