What is it about?
Formation of ice layers on aircraft surfaces during flight is dangerous. We use a plenoptic camera to study ice accretion in 3D during experiments in a dedicated icing wind tunnel. This novel technique shows the evolution of the ice layer with unprecedented resolution.
