What is it about?

A statistical surrogate model of an aeroacoustic liner impedance is constructed as a function of the frequency and of control parameters that are chosen as the percentage of open area and of the sound pressure level, using simulated data generated with a computationally expensive aeroacoustic model. A probability model of uncertainties is calibrated using experiments. The statistical surrogate model allows for constructing a confidence region of the aeroacoustic liner impedance as a function of the frequency and the control parameters.
