What is it about?
Thermal frequency responses of the graded structures have been computed numerically considering the geometrical nonlinearity. The numerical model is derived considering the material gradings in two different directions, temperature-dependent properties and variable porosity. Additionally, the finite element solutions are obtained using a direct iterative solution technique. The nonlinear thermal frequencies of multidirectional graded structure are predicted using the third-order kinematic model including the variable porosity distribution.
