What is it about?
Empirical freestream characterization of high-enthalpy hypersonic ground facilities is critical to improving the certainty of inferred freestream conditions, which has propagating impacts on dependent flow model studies. This work represents a first step towards obtaining a better picture of the freestream conditions in the T5 Reflected Shock Tunnel at Caltech.
