What is it about?
Unique high-speed wind tunnel experiments were recently conducted by the Air Force Research Laboratory, Structural Sciences Center, the purpose of which was to study the behavior of thin, flight-weight panels to a high-Mach/thermal environment. Innovative, full-field measurement techniques were employed for the first time in this setting.
