What is it about?

A technology for computing three-dimensional transonic laminar-turbulent flows at various aerodynamic configurations with the use of a general-purpose CFD code and an integrated transition module. New results, which are in good agreement with corresponding experimental data, were obtained for the transition in transonic flow regimes for a prolate spheroid and engine nacelle.
