What is it about?
In this paper, a model order reduction technique for structures with friction contact is upgraded such that its accuracy is significantly improved with a low additional computational cost. In design process that reduced models should be generated hundred times, this model makes the effective prediction of nonlinear behavior possible due to low offline computational cost and high accuracy.
