What is it about?
This paper studies the effects of perforated liners on controlling the combustion instabilities in a simplified annular combustor with a theoretical approach. The combustor features with two perforated liners installed on the outer and inner walls. Findings of the effects of the position of the liners and modal coupling on the stability predictions are presented.
