What is it about?
Aerodynamic shape optimization couples computational fluid dynamics solvers with numerical optimization methods to help design more efficient aircraft. We compare two such aerodynamic shape optimization algorithms to determine the sensitivity of the optimized shape and performance to the algorithm used.
