What is it about?

Sound propagator in a turbofan jet engine exhaust is formulated. The propagator can be used in connection with internal noise sources radiating through the engine exhaust shear layer, or jet noise sources within the jet mixing layer. Surface boundary conditions at the center-body and their impact on noise is also described.
