What is it about?

We present results on fitting a new metamodel, or an approximation model, to two aerodynamics cases solved using computational fluid dynamics software. These cases feature flow physics which are difficult to model accurately, so our new metamodel, called reduced polynomial chaos-Kriging, is specially designed to approximate these physics accurately using new mathematical techniques which fit only the most important trends within the data.
