What is it about?

Accurate computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations can be prohibitively costly when testing many different designs of aerospace components. We offload some of this computational work to less accurate, but also cheaper models, while exploring the effect of airfoil shape on surface pressures. We demonstrate a 50x cost reduction with errors less than the 1-4% validation error of computational models typically used in industry.
