What is it about?

As new types of aircraft like drones and air taxis begin flying in cities, it’s important to keep people safe, even if something goes wrong during flight. We created a system that helps these aircraft safely land in emergencies, such as if the battery runs low or a motor fails. The system prepares safe landing plans before takeoff and can quickly decide what to do if problems happen in the air. We tested our system on a small drone using realistic maps and flight data, and it worked well, even in tough situations. This research helps make future air travel safer and more reliable.
