What is it about?

In many engineering applications, and especially in remote control of robotic systems, time delays in the transfer of information can make a system behave poorly. We describe three state predictors, including a new one, that were developed to remove the effect of delays in the control action (the input) and the measurement (the output). We then implement these three predictors for a simulation of a fixed-wing unmanned aircraft and compare their performance.
