What is it about?
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images are infected with noise in both phase and amplitude layers that has negative effects on the generated Digital Elevation Models (DEMs). We propose a framework, which integrates a denoising CNN-based process and a modified Weiner filter for despeckling the amplitude layer and denoising the interferogram, respectively. The DEM generated by the proposed CNN-MWF framework outperforms other competing DEMs
