What is it about?
Hawks are able to pursue targets while avoiding obstacles by smoothly adjusting both their speed and direction. Inspired by this behavior, we explore a guidance approach for engineered vehicles that uses similar ideas. Simulation results show that this method improves obstacle avoidance while maintaining effective target pursuit, with potential applications in autonomous systems.
