What is it about?
Mission planning for multitarget successive rendezvous via a single spacecraft necessitates the global optimization of transfer sequences, durations, and trajectories. A hierarchical spatiotemporal tree search method is proposed to explore the discrete-continuous mixed solution space of sequence and time. This method demonstrates both computational efficiency and solution optimality.
