What is it about?

Feedforward gust load alleviation uses remote wind measurement ahead of the aircraft, taken with a lidar, to minimize the wind loads on the aircraft. The processing of the acquired lidar measurements requires regularization (smoothing). We propose a method to choose the optimal set of smoothing parameters in order to achieve the optimal results.
