What is it about?

A ship with a firing turret, mobile air-defense system, surveillance aircraft, and military vehicles with directed sensors are all examples of moving pursuers with rotating platforms installed onboard. In this work, we propose a guidance law that steers such a pursuer-turret assembly to capture a maneuvering target, while minimizing the control effort of the pursuer's lateral acceleration and the turret's torque.
