What is it about?

Novel aircraft configurations are equipped with an increasing amount of control effectors. Modern Control Allocation algorithms have to deal with this growing overactuation. Many of these algorithms are based on online calculation of inverses or pseudoinverses. Control Allocation is a major part of the flight control algorithms and is therefore highly safety-critical. In this paper we introduce algorithms and implementations to reduce the numerical complexity of these algorithms, to ease implementation and simplify certification.
