What is it about?

Prediction of occultation-event windows, i.e., searching the time periods during which occultation events of two satellites can occur, is a basic problem for designing the configuration of satellite constellations and planning occultation missions. We develop a method for rapid determination of occultation-event windows avoiding the need of time-consuming brute-force searching.
