What is it about?

The W-Z parameters are used to express the satellite attitude. A backstepping-based steering law is proposed for three-axis attitude control. The proposed steering law allows significant angular rotation of the gimbals. The proposed law shows shorter settling time than the law with gimbal angle limit. The gimbal angles rotate in opposite or same directions around the end of stabilization.
