What is it about?
The paper studies the use of bearing's only guidance for space applications. This type of guidance uses angles information to estimate the location of the spacecraft. However the range can not be calculated because the system is not observable. So maneuvers are needed at different times to estimate the range. The guidance is applied to a special rendezvous mission that involves the presence of Earth and Moon gravity. In this situation, the guidance has never been applied and only numerical solutions are available.
