What is it about?

A generic framework for guidance missile guidance is proposed based on the idea that a good algorithm is one that satisfies requirements while minimizing the effort. In this paper the effort is defined by the square integral of the guidance command, and the requirements are local requirements at arbitrary time moments. General formulas for the guidance algorithm are provided and illustrated on concrete examples.
