Improved Clustering for Route-Based Eulerian Air Traffic Modeling

What is it about?

For the purpose of constructing a network flow model for air traffic, an approach to extracting well-traveled routes from historical flight data is developed. The approach is demonstrated on data for the western region of the U.S. and shown to be effective.
