What is it about?
As air traffic increases, high density airspace is inevitable in future airspace system. It also causes safety concerns for this new operational concept. We develop a modeling framework with improved suitability and fidelity to analyzed high density airspace. The results reveal some unique effects of airspace density on the design and optimization of future airspace system.
