What is it about?
Attitude determination can be accomplished using a number of sensors, such as star trackers, magnetometers, horizon sensors, magnetometers, and arc-length measurements, e.g. using the Global Positioning System. An approximate attitude solution is derived involving an accurate line-of-sight (LOS) vector observation and other types of attitude observations, which may include other LOS or arc-length observations.
