What is it about?

Simplified substitution of commonly implemented series to replace Battn's hypergeometric function defined for his Lambert solution algorithm.

Why is it important?

Substitutions result in a function which is easier to implement in common coding languages and actually results in faster execution in interpreted ones like matlab.

Perspectives

A quick, Battin-based Lambert solution implementation I've found useful to help students focus on the overall solution method rather than the hypergeometric looping construction.
