What is it about?

This paper explores the concepts of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM), two emerging areas that aim to revolutionize the future of aviation. These new technologies could improve package delivery, urban transportation, and air taxis. We looked at plans and strategies from various organizations, including the FAA, Boeing, NASA, and international agencies like EASA, as well as research from leading institutions. We discussed the challenges identified in these plans and highlighted the contributions of major research centers working on these problems. Finally, we outlined the current state of research and future opportunities to help make AAM and UAM a reality.
