What is it about?
Unsteady vortex dynamics play a significant role in the development of high-speed flows. These vortex dynamics consist of unsteady boundary layer separation, primary and secondary vorticity, vortex interactions, vortex asymmetry, vortex meandering, and vortex breakdown. The nature of these highly three-dimensional flows creates numerous complexities, especially in scenarios where the vortical flow becomes asymmetric, typically observed in high-angle-of-attack aerodynamics.
