What is it about?
This article addresses the development of numerical methods to provide accurate aerodynamic data during early aircraft design stages at feasible cost. Information is leveraged from an affordable and therefore limited number of validated high-fidelity simulations to predict aerodynamic performance and stability characteristics. The approach is demonstrated for a generic multi-swept wing fighter aircraft as part of a NATO Science and Technology research task group.
