What is it about?
As the development of hypersonic vehicles becomes more advanced, aerodynamic properties are required for proper trajectory analysis. Due to the speed and sensativity of hypersonic vehicles, these properties are difficult to acquire for research purposes. This work provides a method for modeling aerodynamic characteristics of simple shaped vehicles and develops optimal trajectories to illustrate hypersonic capabilities.
