What is it about?
This work presents the modeling and assessment of noise reducing capabilities of a Blended Wing Body (BWB) aircraft compared to tube and wing aircraft in different approach and departure procedures and engine thrust capabilities. Noise reducing features of the demonstration aircraft, a vehicle representative of the state of the art JetZero BWB, are highlighted.
