What is it about?
Cable-driven parallel mechanism is a special kind of robotic manipulator that employs flexible cables instead of traditional rigid links, which produces the advantages of simple structure, low inertia, relatively larger workspace and stiffness, high dynamic performances, and superior modularity and reconfigurability. In the area of aeronautics, CDPM is superior for its little aerodynamic interference and good maneuverability. It could be applied in the dynamic wind tunnel tests, especially for the high AOA unsteady tests.
