What is it about?

Transonic shock buffet is a complicated flow phenomenon that can hamper the structurl integrity of the aircraft. The complex flow physics associated with it is difficult to understand. DMD or Dynamic Mode Decomposition is a modal decomposition technique that is quite useful in analyzing complicated nonlinear flow phenomena. Although noise corruption severely limits the accuracy and effectiveness of DMD. This work deals with the application of various modified DMD techniques to peform flow diagnostics on noise corrupted shock buffet flow field data.
