Effect of Partial Ground and Partial Ceiling on Propeller Performance

What is it about?

The propeller ground and ceiling effect in hovering under different ground conditions is studied with force-based experiments and pressure transducer measurement. Different flow visualization method is also used in the study to better understand the flowfield of the propeller in ground effect. A prediction model is developed to account for different propeller geometry, ground distance, and ground condition.
