Wind Tunnel Experiment of Microjet-Based Flow Control on a Two-Dimensional Wing with Flap

What is it about?

Effective control of the aerodynamic performance characteristics of an airplane high-lift system during takeoff and landing is critical to the overall performance of civil transport airplanes. We show experimental results validating the effectiveness of a microjet-based active flow control system with regards to control of lift in the linear regime for an airfoil with an high-lift flap.
