What is it about?

The present paper focuses on a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) investigation of the Bombardier Research Aircraft Configuration (BRAC) half-model support interference caused by the boundary layer filler plate arrangement used in wind tunnel tests. Three practical alternate model configurations were modelled in an attempt to improve how well the vertical tail of a semi-span model represents the corresponding full-span aircraft in the wind tunnel.
