Automated Mesh Generation and Solution Analysis of Arbitrary Airfoil Geometries

What is it about?

High-fidelity computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations require high-quality computational meshes and the use of advanced computational tools. Historically, generating a mesh and using these tools has been a process which requires a great deal of user knowledge and skill. We present a novel method which generates a computational mesh with relatively little user effort, and link these meshes to a proven CFD tool. Despite its simplicity for the user, this method is shown to produce accurate CFD results.
