What is it about?

We show that zero-lift drag coefficients may be simply calculated for a variety of airplanes in subsonic cruise knowing only the flight Reynolds number based on the mean aerodynamic chord. Furthermore, if the aspect ratio is known the maximum lift to drag ratio achievable may also be easily calculated.
