What is it about?

For future large civil transport aircraft, Blended Wing Body was proposed for its aerodynamic efficiency. We show here that a good balance of aerodynamic drag and structural weight can leads to higher performance for the aircraft in terms of the maximum take off weight, extending the aircarft range.
