What is it about?

A study of how morphing error effects global aerodynamic performance for a morphing waverider. The resulting surface error is calculated using an optimal control set and a Finite Element Model. The resulting 3D geometries are evaluated using Computational Fluid Dynamics to evaluate the aerodynamic performance. The two morphing cases are compared to an ideal morphing case and an unmorphed rigid case.
