What is it about?

The paper addresses a number of long-standing challenges of automatic control of hypersonic vehicles that exhibits numerous aerodynamic and structural uncertainties across extremely side Mach-Altitude flight envelope. The paper presents a full state feedback stabilising controller and to analyse the variability of the aerodynamic characteristics by utilising the estimator characteristics of the augmented L1 adaptive control architecture.
