What is it about?
In hybrid rocket fuel is stored within the combustion chamber and oxidizer is injected into the combustion chamber in the controlled manner for the efficient combustion. It was observed that swirl injection gives better combustion than axial injection of the oxidizer. But the strength of the swirling effect decreases as the length of hybrid motor is sufficiently long. Thus, the secondary swirling injection is provided for efficient combustion. The positioning of secondary swirl is important for efficient combustion.
