What is it about?
The power generation characteristics of a disk-shaped magnetohydrodynamic generator driven by rotating detonation are examined via quasi-two-dimensional numerical simulations. The results provide great potential and guidelines for research and development of the detonation-driven MHD generator for use both terrestrially and in space.
